John Mann

Pastor John Mann was raised in Portland, Oregon and comes to the shared ministry in McGrath and Wahkon after serving churches in Minnesota, Iowa and Scotland. He has three grown children, five grandchildren and is married to Lindsay Louise Biddle. John and Lindsay live in Duluth.

John draws upon his life experience as a story teller from having worked along the journey in other capacities including running a shoe shine stand, washing dishes, lumberjack, small engine repair, delivering newspapers, fire-fighter and black belt in karate. He enjoys getting to know people where they are and sees the church as a place inclusive of everyone. In his spare time John likes to play Scrabble, read, work on his house, spend time with family and keep up with his karate.
